Calls from this and related phone numbers repeatedly every day for a week. When we answer, a man with a very thick Indian accent says he is calling about a loan we applied for. When we say how he got our number, we are on the DNC list, he says, "Your account is in our system." When we told him to remove it, he said he would, "but it will cost $39.95." We hung up, but he keeps calling.

I am getting these calls at least twice a day and, on occasion, more often. I no longer listen to the entire message. I just block that number, which doesn't work because they just call back from another number. I feel so harrassed that I am to the point of tears. I am on the 'no call' list but that doesn't seem to work in my favor. What else can I do to stop these calls?

Indian speaking man said our business would be shut down by 3pm if we did not come current with our SDG&E bill, it was 2pm when they called. They also said that SDG&E had sent out a reminder in january that they were updating their billing and if we did make a payment it was not received. as soon as I said I am calling SDG&E myself they hung up! I called the number back and let them know I have reported them to the authorities, they laughed at me.

I just received a call from +0000121233. The man gave me the # 209-813-0490 to call, after he said he wanted to verify my mailing address. He said he was trying to secure a grant for $7,500, from the federal government. I was suspicious, but I let him verify my address. I have a P.O. Box & Life Lock, so I really wasn't too worried about that. I called the 209 #, just to see what else these scam artists were going to say. A woman answered, and just said "Hello". Like that was supposed to convince me it was a government office. I asked her who's number I had dialed, & she actually said "This is a government office." I told her I was suspicious, & she hung up on me. Unbelievable! These crooks are running entire call centers doing this, or they're making the calls in a public place. You can hear lots of people in the back ground. Beware of anyone that calls you saying they're from Microsoft, as well. Microsoft doesn't call their customers, unless requested to.
